Chaldean Cultural Center

The Center paints a portrait of a people, exploring the history that shaped them, the faith that sustains them, and the lives they lead today. At its heart is an exhibition that takes visitors from the court of Nebuchadnezzar to an immigrant grocery store in Detroit and beyond. Multimedia presentations, sophisticated hands-on activities, artifacts both ancient and modern, and evocative environments tell a distinctive, engaging, and powerful story.

LifeFormations worked closely with the CCC board to bring this very important story to life by producing themed environments from the ancient days of the Chaldean people, their faith and church, a village scene with life-like museum figures, their journey as immigrants to this country and their lives here, culminating with a gallery of contemporary photos and current lifestyles today.

Each gallery contains custom sculpted elements, highly detailed models and artifact replicas, as well as original artifacts archived and mounted in controlled environment museum cases.  Interactive touch screens, pepper’s ghost exhibits and themed audio tracks engage guests on different levels as they explore the space.
